Litigation Assistant - Plaintiff's Complex Litigation and Class Action

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join a dynamic team focused on complex environmental litigation and plaintiff class actions. This is a new role designed to support a small, collaborative group of attorneys and paralegals. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of litigation processes, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level litigation support to attorneys in complex cases.
  • Manage state and federal court filings, including e-filing and manual processes.
  • Handle state and federal calendaring (manual via Outlook).
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Coordinate case-related tasks and maintain organized case files.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and paralegals in a tight-knit team environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation experience (required).
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and terminology.
  • Proficiency in state and federal calendaring and court filing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Paralegal certificate not required-experience is valued most.
